All breeding is done by artificial insemination using shipped semen. You MUST work with your veterinarian to insure a successful pregnancy. Good general care and management are very important for your mare. A general reproductive examination by a equine veterinarian with expertise in reproduction is needed to know if she has the potential to become pregnant. This could be a simple palpation and ultrasound or a more detailed breeding soundness exam.
